Creating Accessories as I Create Linens<\/h2>

I design accessories much like I design home linens: I start with the material, consider its use, and meticulously refine every finish. Everything is designed and developed by me. Some pieces are born from an immediate, almost instinctive impulse. Others are built more slowly, at the pace of the craft, through trials, and with the time required. Today, the Marrakech boutique features bags, pouches, jewelry, babouches, scarves, shawls, and djellabas. These are handmade artisanal accessories, designed for practical use. They are meant to be worn, handled, and find their place in daily life. I always strive for precision: in size, weight, and drape. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Materials and Formats<\/h2>

I primarily work with natural materials: cotton, linen, wool, silk, trimmings, beads, vintage finds\u2026 depending on the project. I allow the material to guide the final form. A scarf often becomes a unique piece. Knitted shawls take the form of short series. Production adjusts to manufacturing time and available materials. <\/p>

The handcrafted creations I develop in Marrakech come to life either as unique pieces or as limited series. This distinction depends on the object, the gesture required, and the time needed. I develop each item with particular attention to detail. Some forms appear for a specific moment, then give way to others. Each accessory is composed of several elements, often enriched with antique accessories or pieces from nature. As soon as an object is adorned with antique or found materials, it becomes a unique piece. <\/p>

Is it possible to order an accessory remotely?<\/strong>
No, the pieces are only available in the boutique. This is part of the experience: to come, see, touch, and choose on-site. And besides, isn’t it delightful to return from a trip with an object you won’t find anywhere else, because it is unique, chosen here, in the moment? <\/p>

Are the materials used local?<\/strong>
I select materials according to each project. Some come from Morocco, others from elsewhere.
I ‘find’ components during my travels, through encounters, markets, and detours. <\/p>

How to care for handmade accessories?<\/strong>
This, of course, depends on each piece. The idea is for a handmade object to last, evolve, and transform over time.
