The OZERA placemat from the OYOKI collection, crafted from cotton poplin, is handmade in our Marrakech workshop. The collection’s original design is inspired by children’s scribbles, featuring unique, seamless, and continuous embroidery.
It can be paired with the napkins from the same collection for a harmonious set, or with our FLEUR collection napkins for an original set.
Our placemats are sold in sets of four. Items made to order: delivery within 2 to 4 weeks
The OYOKI collection reflects a unique approach to textile creation: an idea, an impulse, a gesture that evolves into a collection. Each piece can be paired with existing table linens or coordinated to create a unique set.
“These scribbles were born from an accident. A brand new, white cotton tablecloth that I adored. An indelible stain appeared. I was dismayed: how could I save it? So I took a pencil. I drew on it, almost to console myself. Lines, loops, illogical marks. I had them embroidered. The tablecloth was saved. A new collection was born. This is often how I work. A collapsed wall, an indelible stain, an eternal flower. Accidents transform into new beginnings, constraints become material, the unexpected opens a door.” Valérie Barkowski
