Three spaces that compose the VB universe

The Valérie Barkowski universe is composed of three complementary spaces: the atelier, the Marrakech boutique, and the e-shop. Each expresses a facet of the global project: the spirit that imagines, the place that welcomes, and the platform that connects.

Together, they express a single vision: that of ethical and timeless textile design, grounded in respect, craftsmanship, and transmission. Behind every sheet, cushion, or towel, there is an atelier, a hand, a gaze.

Here, handmade home linens are an ethical choice, not a trend. Hand embroidery, small series, and thoughtful local production tell the same story: that of patient, careful work, designed to last. Each order is handled with the same attention as a piece of textile haute couture, without overproduction, without compromise.

Dar Kawa, the travel companion of her work

Discovered in 1996, never left since

In the very heart of the Marrakech medina, Dar Kawa is the house that Valérie Barkowski restored and then lived in since 1996.

First a holiday home, then a restoration project carried out with architect Quentin Wilbaux, it then welcomed travellers for several years.

The house functions as a laboratory for her projects: textiles are used there every day, and ideas are tested against real-life use.
