The e-shop and the website valeriebarkowski.com are exclusively published and operated by the company Eggs SRL (Brussels, Belgium), under a commercial operating license granted by Valérie Barkowski, exclusive holder of all intellectual property and copyright rights over her creations, models, and archives since 1996.
1. Scope of application
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all sales concluded between EGGS SRL (hereinafter “the Seller”) and any non-professional natural person (hereinafter “the Customer”) via the websites www.valeriebarkowski.com or www.valeriebarkowski.shop.
Purchasing on these sites implies unreserved acceptance of these terms. The products are intended solely for consumers with the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
2. Products
The items offered are handmade using artisanal processes. Slight variations in size, color, or finish may occur and shall not constitute a defect.
Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible, but minor differences may exist depending on screen settings or lighting.
3. Orders
Orders are placed online from the available collections. Once the order is validated and paid for, a confirmation email is sent within 48 business hours.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel an order in the event that an item is unavailable. In such cases, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible.
4. Price and payment
Prices are expressed in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Delivery costs and any customs duties are the responsibility of the Customer.
Payment is made online, securely, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) or PayPal. Payment is due immediately at the time of ordering.
5. Delivery
Products are shipped from Morocco via DHL, then delivered to the shipping address. The estimated timeframe is 3 to 4 weeks from the date of the order.
Delivery costs are calculated at the time of the order. In the event of a specific request (special packaging or transport), a supplementary quote may be provided.
The Customer is required to check the package upon receipt and to immediately notify the carrier, in writing, of any apparent damage. After a period of 3 working days, no claim will be admissible.
6. Withdrawal and returns
Right of withdrawal
The Customer has a legal period of 7 days from receipt to request an exchange or a refund, provided that the item:
- has not been used,
- is returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition,
- is accompanied by the purchase invoice and a return form to be requested from: sales@valeriebarkowski.com.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
Exception – Custom-made products
Custom-made or personalized items are neither returned nor exchanged, in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law. All custom orders are final. If a modification is requested before shipping, fees may be retained.
7. Transfer of ownership
Ownership of the products is transferred to the Customer upon full receipt of payment. Risks related to transport are assumed by the Customer upon handover to the carrier.
8. Liability and warranties
The Seller undertakes to deliver products that comply with Belgian legislation. The Seller cannot be held liable for non-compliant use or legal incompatibility in another country.
Products benefit from the legal warranty against hidden defects. Any request must be sent in writing and accompanied by supporting documents.
The Seller shall not be held liable in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control (transport delays, strikes, customs blockages, etc.).
9. Personal data
Data collected during the order process is treated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is only used to ensure the processing and delivery of orders.

10. Intellectual property
All elements present on the sites (texts, images, drawings, logos, graphic charter, etc.) are the exclusive property of Valérie Barkowski. Any reproduction, even partial, without written authorization is prohibited.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These General Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Brussels, even in the event of multiple defendants or third-party proceedings.
