The Bala table napkin interprets the Valérie Barkowski house’s irregular stripe motif through delicate embroidery. Blocks of fine lines form a graphic design whose widths vary from one area to the next.

This play of proportions gives each piece its character, while preserving the balance of the motif. In a 45 × 45 cm format, the napkin reveals the atelier’s precision in a compact size. Depending on how it is folded and set on the table, the lines reveal themselves from different angles, bringing a graphic detail to the presentation.

• Material: 100% ecru cotton (raw). A bleached cotton version is available on request.
• Packaging: Sold as a set of 4.
• Solid colours: Aubergine, Carmin, Olive, Water, Peacock and Prune.
• Multicolour options: Not offered for this collection.
• Lead time: 2 to 4 weeks, each piece made to order.

Care instructions

Wash the napkin at 40°C on a delicate cycle, avoiding mixing it with very dark laundry. Air-dry whenever possible and iron on a low heat if needed. Avoid fabric softener to preserve the fibres and the textile’s hand.

Create a coordinated table with the Bala collection

Pair the Bala napkin with the placemat and tablecloth from the same collection to create a harmonious table setting. It also coordinates particularly well with the Nosnos, Kando and Fleur collections, depending on the atmosphere you wish to create.
