Sold in pairs, the ILAN pillowcase expresses our house’s DNA and geometric rigor in a refined format. Made to order in prestigious fine cotton, it is adorned with our historic bicolor grouped tassel trim finish, worked stitch by stitch by needle by our artisans in Marrakech.
This foundational design, unchanged since its creation in 1996, requires 2 to 4 weeks of crafting and bears the V.Barkowski signature to certify its supreme quality against copies.
The ILAN pillowcase is distinguished by its signature finish, where the tassel remains entirely white while only its tie is adorned with a touch of color. Delicate and subtle, this trim elegantly underscores the pillowcase’s edge, revealing a refined interpretation of detail in the spirit of V. Barkowski.
Each tassel is shaped and attached by hand with great precision. The regularity of their crafting, the balance of their spacing, and the finesse of their execution reflect exceptional artisanal craftsmanship, where every gesture contributes to creating a unique piece.
The tie is available in the same ten shades as the rest of the collection: six solid colors (Beige, Brique, Carmin, Kaki, Prune, Water) and four multicolors (Aqua, Crush, Fog, Haroun).

On the ILAN pillowcase, the house’s emblematic craftsmanship—the tassel shaped by hand by our artisans in Marrakech—is expressed in its most refined version: unlike the rest of the collection, where the tassel itself carries the color, here it remains white, and only the tie that binds it is dressed in hue.
Each pillowcase requires between 240 and 260 cm of tassels, distributed across its four sides, a reference found identically on the Ilias pillowcase, as the construction is the same.
Sold in pairs, they are nevertheless made one by one, each woman, each man who embroiders having a different hand. You probably won’t see this difference: same threads, same length, same thickness, from one pillowcase to another. But this very regularity is the fruit of manual gesture, repeated with the same precision, tassel after tassel.
