The LAMU bath mat is the natural and inseparable complement to our iconic bath linen, born from our first textile research in 1996. Specifically designed to structure the space and bring a timeless graphic touch to the floor, this original model preserves an exceptional savoir-faire, passed down and executed by hand since its creation by Valérie Barkowski.
On this high-quality piece, our hand-embroidered tassel finish is displayed on the two opposite widths of the mat. Each traditional thread tassel is shaped one by one, then fixed independently with rigorous geometric alignment, controlled only by eye and hand. This artisanal stitching offers impeccable hold and perfect stability on the floor, distinguishing our house’s exclusive signature from mass-produced imitations or industrial counterfeits.

To create a bathroom with character, the LAMU bath mat pairs ideally with our bath sheets, bath towels, and guest towels from the same eponymous collection. You can also combine it with our solid Memba range to break the monotony of rectilinear sets and mix the brand’s universes according to your personal taste.
To preserve the unique loft and absorption of our heavy cotton, we recommend an initial machine wash at 40°C before use, separating light and dark tones. Tumble drying is ideal as it restores all the original suppleness to the terry, while the use of fabric softeners is discouraged to avoid waterproofing the cotton loops.
