Trass Bath Mat

The raw thickness of the Trass bath mat requires rigorous technique. The density of the heavy woven cotton demands particular strength and regularity from the artisan’s hand to penetrate the material while maintaining a perfectly straight line.

The colored thread of this hand-finished detail subtly encircles the edges of the piece. The running stitch marks the floor space with a very clear linear and graphic rhythm.
