Ozera Noon Placemat
Ozera features a free-form, irregular shape, like an island or a puddle on the table, a design that sets it apart from all other classically shaped table linens in the collection.
In its Noon finish, the embroidery scatters freely across this silhouette: unlike the Nil finish, which is limited to a turned thread along the edge, Noon covers the entire surface, without following the contour of the piece.
The finish, explained for this piece
On Ozera, the Noon motif – eight-pointed stars – disperses freely, as on the rest of this table linen collection. Each star is hand-embroidered by our skilled embroiderers in our Marrakech workshop.
Features & options
The Ozera NOON placemat is crafted from raw cotton, available in ecru or bleached. In its Noon finish, it is offered in multicolour versions, as well as in solid colours: Aubergine, Carmin, Gitan, Olive, Paon, Prune, and Water.
It can also be customised based on a Pantone colour or a fabric sample. Simply contact us by writing to sales@valeriebarkowski.com. We will be delighted to help you compose your order.
The Ozera NOON Placemat is crafted from raw cotton, available in ecru or bleached.
The design is available in two sizes: a small format, scaled for an individual placemat, and a large format, conceived for two people or as a centrepiece composed of one or more items. Any bespoke request can be addressed to sales@valeriebarkowski.com.
Available dimensions for the Ozera NOON Placemat:
- Ozera NOON Placemat, small format (49 cm x 39 cm)
- Ozera NOON Placemat, large format (76 cm x 63 cm)
As the pieces have an irregular silhouette, the dimensions correspond to the longest point in width and the longest point in height.
Two stories, one piece
The Ozera silhouette was born during Covid, from a sketch by Valérie Barkowski in search of a more playful table setting; its complete story can be found on the Ozera Nil product page. The Noon embroidery, meanwhile, originates from the very first embroidered set created in 1997 by Rabea, the house’s first embroiderer in Marrakech – discover more in our article “Fez Embroidery: The Origin of Our Noon Collection.”
Coordinating with the collection
Ozera Noon coordinates with the classic napkin and placemat from the Noon collection, as well as with the Hana napkins, born from the same reflection on a playful and personal art de la table.
Care instructions
The Ozera Noon Placemat can be machine washed at 40°C on a delicate cycle. Air drying is preferable to preserve the embroidery. For ironing, turn the piece inside out and iron on the reverse side.
