Each ILAN duvet cover is an original creation in mercerized combed cotton of remarkable softness and hold. Designed in 1996 by Valérie Barkowski, this historic model is characterized by its signature alignment of large, grouped two-tone tassels, entirely hand-shaped and embroidered in our Marrakech workshop.
This high-quality bed linen, made exclusively to order, requires 2 to 4 weeks of craftsmanship to guarantee you a unique and authentic piece.
The ILAN duvet cover is distinguished by a signature finish where the tassel remains entirely white, while only its tie is adorned with a touch of color. Arranged around the edge of the piece, this delicate border elegantly highlights the lines of the cover and brings a subtle identity, faithful to the spirit of the Maison V. Barkowski.
This finish requires constant artisanal precision. Each tassel is shaped and attached by hand, ensuring the regularity of its volume, the harmony of its spacing, and the finesse of every detail. This meticulous work, carried out element by element, bears witness to an exceptional savoir-faire where the mastery of the gesture reveals all the beauty of a timeless piece.
The colored tie is available in the same ten shades as the rest of the collection: six solids (Beige, Brick, Carmine, Khaki, Plum, Water) and four multicolors (Aqua, Crush, Fog, Haroun).

The ILAN duvet cover features the house’s emblematic savoir-faire: the hand-shaped tassel, embroidered into the fabric by our artisans in Marrakech – but the color logic is reversed: elsewhere in the collection, the tassel itself is colored; here, it remains white, and only the tie that knots it carries the color. A more minimal model, designed for those who love artisanal tradition without a too-bold color note.
