The ASMARA collection stands out for its refined lines, inspired by randa, a traditional Moroccan decorative stitching technique considered one of the most elegant finishes in Moroccan dress. The meticulous, regular stitches of randa, which join two fabric edges and typically trace the outline of a textile piece, are here expressed across the flat surface of a duvet cover or pillowcase. The embroidered lines, with each stitch made by hand, are arranged at random. The width of the fabric bands thus joined therefore varies.
