The LAMU shower towel features, in a more compact format than the large bath towel, the hand-made tassel border that identifies our entire eponymous collection, born from our first research in 1996. This piece preserves the same exceptional craftsmanship, passed down without ever changing its nature since its original creation by Valérie Barkowski.

On the LAMU shower towel, the short tassel border spans a width of 70 cm at each end. Each element must maintain the same thickness and length as its neighbor, with no threads sticking out once the cut is made, and remain strictly equally spaced. This geometric regularity is checked tassel by tassel, by eye and by hand, without templates or machines. Demanding our house’s authentic signature is the only guarantee of obtaining this supreme quality, often imitated but never equaled.
